I had an idea of what to write about for today’s post, but our Monday afternoon was much more exciting than it needed to be, and I lost precious time to flush out that idea, so instead I felt inspired to propose a much bigger one.
Generic. No one wants to be called that. Authentic. Ooh, now that’s what we’re talkin’ about.
I will go out on a limb and say that both of these descriptions are not dangerous, but actually approachable, and although one might be more fun than the other, and definitely more memorable, neither is cunning, and both seem kind.
But is one more valuable than the other? Does it really matter if the form is sexy as long as it functions? How about we simply sigh and accept that there is room for both, in each of us, in everything, before, after, and during... it all.
As long as honesty prevails, and remains the blood running through every vein on earth, (good or evil, vibrant or bland), we’ll notice we have much more in common than we don’t.
So let’s just settle into our skin, live, and be ourselves.
The song and video choice today is a nod to the theme, KT Tunstall's, Suddenly I See.
