Over these last two weeks, I have spent most of my time soaking up the last bits of 2022 and preparing for 2023.
Since Marion has been on a break, too, we’ve been watching cheesy and classic Christmas movies every night, brainstorming house renovation ideas, spending an afternoon at Universal Studios, eating too many/just enough Vegan cookies, riding bikes together (sort of, I gave him a lesson on clip-in pedals before he went off to ride with friends), and going on family walks with our dog, Blueberry, most mornings. I’ve also ordered, installed, and tested a new power meter system for Big Red, ordered better/correct swim fins, and focused every run on adjusting my landing in order to decrease my feet from supinating too far, and thereby not straining various ligaments, tendons, etc,. so that I can start off my workouts in 2023 on the right foot.:)
Clearly, I am all legs.:) Marion and I seated on the Universal Studios backlot tram tour.
I enjoyed 2022, it was packed with stories and memories I will cherish, but I am excited for 2023…
